LOOKING FOR:
A printmaker whose use of strong solvents is minimal.
ABOUT:
The print studio is equipped with:
- 26″ x 48″ Rochat Press.
- Hot plate.
- Paper soaking tray.
- Blotting area.
- Print drying beds.
- Inking/paper cutting zone.
- Inks, materials & paper storage.
We prioritize using non-toxic solvents and keep any regular solvents to a rare minimum.
The open-plan studio is shared by a total of 5 artists (640 sq ft).
The print area (160 sq ft) is shared between 3–4 artists.
Each printmaker also has their own desk/studio area.
The print studio is currently shared by:
- Tamsin Relly: Works with water-based monotypes, painting, and occasional etching.
- Julia Peintner: Focuses on Japanese woodcuts, monotypes, painting, and drawing.
Another artist, Will Lindley, shares the open plan but does not use the print zone (works on paper and wood, video, and installation).
