PRINT-STUDIO SHARE AVAILABLE – SOUTH LONDON – SE15

We are looking for one or two printmakers to share our press and lovely open-plan print studio! Get in touch to speak in more detail and arrange a viewing!

(Additionally we may have general studio space coming available soon for between around £240 – £360. Get in touch to express interest)

PRINT STUDIO DETAILS:

  • £170 – £250 p/m – negotiable, depending on needs and spaces filled
  • 1 year contract starting: 1 June 2025 (or sooner)
  • 1 to 2 spaces available

  • Shared use of print area and equipment.
  • Allocated personal table and wall space
  • Allocated share of storage areas – drawers, shelves, paper storage etc
  • £250 – *This figure may be able to be reduced if 2 artists join

 

OPTION B / £170 p/m

  • Shared use of print area and equipment.
  • ‘Hot desk’ style use of table surfaces and walls for projects
  • Allocated share of storage areas – drawers, shelves, paper storage etc.
  • £170 – *For this option we would be looking for 2 new artists to join the space.

MORE ABOUT THE PRINTMAKERS OPTION

LOOKING FOR:
A printmaker whose use of strong solvents is minimal.

ABOUT:
The print studio is equipped with:

  • 26″ x 48″ Rochat Press.
  • Hot plate.
  • Paper soaking tray.
  • Blotting area.
  • Print drying beds.
  • Inking/paper cutting zone.
  • Inks, materials & paper storage.

We prioritize using non-toxic solvents and keep any regular solvents to a rare minimum.


The open-plan studio would shared by a total of  4 – 5 artists (640 sq ft).
The print area (160 sq ft) would be shared by between 2–4 of those artists.

The print studio is currently shared by:

  • Tamsin Relly: Works with water-based monotypes, painting, and occasional etching.
  • Julia Peintner: Focuses on Japanese woodcuts, monotypes, painting, and drawing.

Another artist, Will Lindley, shares the open plan but does not use the print zone (works on paper and wood, video, and installation).
